I noticed that I have to set up synchronization for every journal separately. I would like to be able to set a default synchronization which is automatically applied to all journals including new ones.

To take that idea further, it would be better maybe to have the option to opt out of this automatic synchronization on a journal by journal basis and set up a different synchronization for each of those where necessary.
